Bride charges guests £100 to attend £40k wedding on top of flights and hotel
A bride-to-be has declared she’s charging her wedding guests £100 each to attend her upcoming ceremony – as she wants to try and ” save money ” on the event, which already has a budget of £40,000.
Carla Bellucci, 40, is set to tie the knot with her 52-year-old fiancé Giovanni but has said that her 30 guests won’t be able to get into the venue for free on the day, as they’ll all have to contribute £100 if they want to see her get married.
That price tag is on top of the cash each guest will have to pay for flights and accommodation to Carla’s destination wedding, as the ceremony will take place in Cape Verde, Africa, in July next year.
In total, the mum-of-four will take £3,000 for her guests, which she says will help ensure she can have “the best of everything” at her “dream” wedding without having to break the bank herself.
The OnlyFans model also joked she’s having the “last laugh” once again, after she was dubbed Britain’s Most Hated Woman in 2019 for admitting to faking depression to get a £7,000 nose job on the NHS.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: “I love the fact I’ll have my dream wedding and other people will be paying for it. Once again I’m having the last laugh by getting what I want without having to shell out too much of my own money.”
Carla, from Hitchin, Hertfordshire, said she “can’t wait” to be the centre of attention at her wedding, and has insisted that she isn’t phased by how “shocked” people will be by her plan.
The model claimed she isn’t forcing her guests to attend the wedding, but stated that if they choose to come, they need to “cough up” the £100 fee.
Determined to have the “best wedding ever”, Carla and her fiancé have already spent £6,000 on her made-to-measure wedding dress, on top of the other £6,000 that Carla’s engagement ring cost.
And Carla also shared the secret to her romance with Giovanni, as she said she likes to “keep him happy” with regular date nights once a week, as well as going on luxury holidays without her children.
The model will even be sending her kids back home once the wedding is over so that she and Giovanni can celebrate their honeymoon by themselves.
She added: “I’ll pack them back to England after my wedding so Giovanni and I can enjoy our honeymoon too.
“This is my last wedding and I’m going to make the most of it.”
